R. Kevin Butler was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 15, 1965. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University in 1987, and then attended the Oklahoma City University School of Law where he was a member of Phi Delta Phi and earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1990.

Kevin has been admitted to practice law in Oklahoma since 1991. Since that time he has concentrated his practice in the areas of juvenile law, criminal defense, family law, adoptions, and general civil litigation.  He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Northern Districts of Oklahoma, and the United States Court of Appeals Tenth Circuit. Kevin was the recipient of the 2007 Champions for Children Award from the Foster Care Association of Oklahoma, and he has been a featured speaker and panelist at several legal education seminars.

Kevin is married to Ann H. Butler, who is also an attorney.  Kevin’s hobbies include golf and spending time with his two children.
