David A. Cincotta was born in Oklahoma City on May 14, 1981. He attended Oklahoma State University and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 2002. In 2007 David graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he was a merit scholar, member of Phi Kappa Phi, and earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2007.

David has been admitted to practice law in Oklahoma since 2007. Since that time, David has worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Oklahoma County, after which he became General Counsel for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections in 2014. David has also served on the Legislative Committee for the District Attorneys Council and served on the Dispute Resolution Advisory Board.

In February 2020, David became Of Counsel with Butler & Flynn PLLC. His primary areas of practice include estate planning, probate, criminal defense, expungements, appeals,real property law, and administrative law. David is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Northern, and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

David lives in Oklahoma City with his wife Jayme and their three children. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family and friends, and cheering on the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
